NEW 06.10.08: Bad news: I’m discontinuing ORAR online. The archives will remain just as they were for posterity/entertainment/inspiration/ridicule… whatever you’ve got. We had a good run.
Good news: As you may have guessed, the reason I’m not doing the “Rogues and Robbers” online serial anymore is because I’m finally going to print with this sucker. I’m stripping the story and art back down and starting from scratch now that I know what I’m doing, where I’m going, and how to accomplish it. This summer will be spent in preproduction and I’ll probably be posting some of the work on the blog. This fall, I can start drawing the first issue (which is actually the first chapter of the online serial, ‘cept better) with an estimated completion date falling somewhere this winter (depending on the length of the issue). “Of Rogues and Robbers” will be self-published, although I’m not entirely sure how to accomplish that just yet. Learn as I go, I guess. Suffice to say, I’m extremely excited. Many thanks to those who have maintained interest these past few years and offered encouragement and feedback. The print version will not disappoint.
I’ve got a video turnaround of the 3D model I did of Jack last year that I’ll post next time I update the site. In the meantime, here’s a Jack picture I did for the blog.
