Undoubtedly the most talented thief in town, Jack is unaware of the depth of her ability or the notoriety resulting from it. She loves a challenge and is often frustrated by how easy her skills come to her. Despite her abrasiveness at times, Jack is compassionate but doesn't always seem to understand those around her. She has sort of a big mouth and doesn't think of how her words will affect others until they've already been said… she's just oblivious in the emotions department. Socially, she's a bit inept and also has a hot temper that she doesn't bother trying to control.

Name: Warren Hoxsey
Age: 21
Occupation: Talented rookie

Warren is very easy going and, like Jack, is often oblivious to the emotions of others, although this usually doesn't cause him many problems (unlike Jack). He's not the most observant person you could meet either. Warren is very accepting of others and is generally pretty cool with everyone. He's a social guy and it takes a lot to ruffle his feathers. Warren can be really indecisive at times, has a good sense of humor, a positive outlook on life, and lives in the present. Jack and Warren are very alike in ways that aren't always readily apparent.

Age: 21
Occupation: Ambitious thief

Angie is excessively ambitious. Having been raised a thief, her ambitions are geared toward crime. Angie has no scruples save for one: loyalty to her friends. Angie would steal from a blind man. Her jealousy of Jack's skill throws a kink into their friendship sometimes. She’s a stubborn individual who works very hard at improving her skills. Jack takes her talent for granted and it comes to her effortlessly, which just drives Angie nuts. Angie's talent is entirely earned and she is terribly competitive, confident, bossy, and frequently reckless. Angie is also Giles' cousin.

Name: Giles Kady
Age: 20
Occupation: Reluctant thief

Giles and Jack have been best friends since they met when they were both seven. Giles comes from a good home and still isn't comfortable with the idea of theft. He seems to be the only one who (sort of) understands Jack and he takes her faults in stride. Giles is loyal to a fault and would do anything for his friends and family. He often acts as the peacemaker and the go-between. Giles is the most moral one in the bunch and he is very conflicted over his role as a pickpocket. His clumsiness frequently puts him in jeopardy during theft and the others in the ring usually have to look out for him. He's not street-smart.

Name: Theo Sanborn
Age: 39
Occupation: Longtime thief

Theo has been in the thieving business for a long time. He is the head of the pickpocket ring of which Jack is a member. Theo raised Jack from the age of six but feels that he shouldn’t have raised her to be a thief. But theft was all he really knew so he passed it on to her. Also, the circumstances under which he acquired Jack as a child cause him to distance himself from her. Theo has a tendency to beat himself up over every… little… thing. He can't let go of anything. Also, he's one of those guys who can never allow himself to be happy. Theo is guilt-ridden, depressing, pragmatic and experienced. He thrives on routine, remembers everything, and is frequently paranoid.

Name: Quentin
Age: 40
Occupation: Ex-con/once and future crime lord

Not much is known about Quentin at this time. He had just completed a 13 year prison sentence and aims to resurrect his former crime ring. Quentin’s time in prison has made him paranoid and obsessive. Those who work with Quentin suspect he may even be bipolar because his personality so often goes to different extremes.

Name: Nico
Age: 23
Occupation: Crime heir

Nico is Quentin’s nephew and inept protégé. Nico is easygoing and lazy. Although he wishes to find success, he’s not especially picky about where he finds that success and doesn’t want to put in much effort anyhow. He’s a good person who sometimes takes morally questionable actions because it’s easier and he doesn’t want to ruffle anyone’s feathers.
